INDUSTRIAL MECHANICAL MAINTENANCE
The Industrial/Mechanical Maintenance series will give students
practical knowledge to
maintain equipment and various power systems in industrial settings.
Graduates from
the certificate level will gain an understanding of manufacturing
processes, mechanical
systems and basic maintenance skills. The diploma and AAS Degree
programs will
expand this knowledge to include the operation and troubleshooting of
electrical,
hydraulic and pneumatic power systems, mechanical systems, and
industrial controls.
Knowledge of applied mathematics and physical science support the
learning outcomes
of the technical courses while the emphasis on written and verbal
communications will
support graduates' interaction with employees and also their
aspirations to become
maintenance supervisors.
